Book Author Tips and Techniques from Writing, to Publishing, to Sales

By Doug Bruhnke · Global Chamber

We completed the first round of eight conversations with 23 Global Chamber® members who are book authors, gaining insights from them on their area of expertise... for education, ideas and inspiration!

All eight programs were truly remarkable. Thank you, all! We even had a happy hour with book authors, and now we've completed another series of conversations about writing a book - tips and techniques.

These globinars started with "Deciding to Write a Book" and ended in a recap. Watch one, two, eight or any number in between... to be inspired and most effective as you write your first or next book.

  • Deciding to Write a Book, Part 1 of 8, HERE
  • Starting and Writing, Part 2 of 8, HERE
  • Creating a Writing Community, Part 3 of 8, HERE
  • Publisher or Self-Publish? Pros and Cons, Part 4 of 8, HERE
  • Marketing Timing and Strategies, Part 5 of 8, HERE
  • Selling Platforms for Your Book, Part 6 of 8, HERE
  • Creating an Author's Website, Part 7 of 8, HERE
  • Wrap-up and Recap of the Fall Series, Part 8 of 8, blog post HERE

This discussion is intended to share information from experts on writing a book, and the conversation will include a preview of future events on specific book-writing topics. Theseglobinars have been designed for leaders who have...

  1. Already completed one or more books.
  2. Have a book somewhere in the process
  3. An absolute or moderate interest in writing a book
  4. A general interest to MAYBE be an author someday

Thanks to all the speakers and contributors, including for all these video HERE. And all 23 who got things started earlier in 2021 HERE.

Special thanks to our core group of leaders who have been most responsible for all 16 programs.
