We collaborated on the globinar "Diversity - Equity - Inclusion in Recruiting & Innovating" with reesmarx.
DEI has become more important as studies have shown that a more diverse team is more innovative and successful... and within the 'Great Resignation' and global talent shortage... global teams are more and more being built with people from around the world. Diversity aspects building strong teams include gender, transgender, LGBTQ+, culture, nationality, religion and more. Global is good... different is great!
Listen to the conversation HERE.
Sometimes companies attempting to bring DEI in approach it as “needing to hit quotas of diverse groups” vs really just looking at the candidates qualifications. On the other side of that, sometimes hiring leaders have stereotypes that stop them from hiring strong diverse talent.
Some candidates fear that bringing to light their diversities could rock the boat – but companies are only stronger and more successful when they are open and reflecting on their DEI.
These were some of the topics we covered in this globinar, from the perspective of reesmarx leaders from around the world, working with companies globally. Topics included...

Challenging recruitment requests – mainly ageism, education, stereotypical ideas of people based on past failed employees
-
The power we can have to getting right candidates in front of clients
