Global Economy: The Great Suppression

Watch the absolute best 2021 economic analysis that you'll see this year by Karl Schamotta, Chief Market Strategist at Cambridge.

By Susan Assadi · Global Chamber

The Great Suppression! Markets are soaring, the economy isn’t. From equities to homes, bonds to cryptocurrencies... asset prices have roared to unprecedented levels over the last year – even as the world has suffered history’s biggest and fastest downturn.

Watch the best 2021 economic analysis that you'll see HERE by Karl Schamotta, Chief Market Strategist at Cambridge. Review his presentation HERE. Wow!

"I have heard hundreds of presentations such as this and this is simply the absolute best ever. Pointed. Clarity. Each point made was supported with understandable data. The flow of the points made added to the clarity. This is an essential for all interested in learning about the global economic picture. I am thankful to have heard every word." ~ Dwaine Canova - CEO at Zynity

The economic disconnect described above is the natural consequence of a multi-decade effort to crush financial volatility. In repeatedly choosing to combat chaos through massive intervention efforts, seemingly well-intentioned governments and central banks have fundamentally changed how traders, investors and speculators react to uncertainty.

In this globinar Karl explored the unintended - and unforeseen – economic consequences, looking beyond falling productivity, rising inequality, growing political strife, and increasing financial fragility to expose the darker reality behind today’s artificially-managed financial markets.

Outstanding presentation!

ps... some additional questions that will be answered shortly.

  1. How do we handle protectionism and nationalism hampering global trade in this difficult times?

  2. Strong structural and operational changes involving broadened AI, automation etc as well as supply chain restructuring will impact labor forces around the world, heightening income inequality. Is increased government intervention necessary and desirable to try to cushion workers through the coming 5 or so years? What about universal income or something similar? In other words, is increased government intervention a necessary economic adjunct at least in the mid=term?

  3. When interest rates rise (perhaps in 2 years) what will be the impact on Western economies due to massive debt accrued in supporting economies and people?

  4. Doesn't this have consequences for the real value of currencies when economic activity resumes sans support?

  5. Do you recommend buying bitcoins?

Watch for the answers to be filled in above soon.
