Oluwadara Adekunle is an entrepreneur and a development professional. Her main technical focus is on agribusiness, renewable energy and business development. She currently supports the USAID Feed the Future Nigeria Agribusiness Investment Activity as the Agribusiness Director. For more than Five years, she has activelyengaged various agricultural stakeholders including farmer organizations, agribusinesses SME’s and large corporates as well as financial institutions & Investment Firms to create access to markets, technologies and a free flow of finance and investments to the agricultural value chain in Nigeria
She co-founded Farmties Capital, a private investment firm that focuses on financing start-ups and Small and Medium Scale enterprises in the Agricultural Sector. Farmties capital believes that with the right support agricultural SMEs can be empowered to contribute meaningfully to Africa’s prosperity and social development.
Oluwadara hopes to engage in businesses and projects that will revitalize the rural communities and contribute to the sustainable and economic development of Nigeria and Africa as a whole. She also has excellent analytical and communication skills.
Dara is an Alumni of Lagos Business school Venture in Management Program (ViMP), A fellow of the president Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), West Africa, a graduate of Covenant University in Engineering, Master of Business Administration with specialty in leadership and innovation from Edinburgh Napier University.
