Virtual League of Global Non-Profits is a recurring forum organized by the Global Chamber® with a group of members from the non-profit sector presenting about their projects and advising on how other Global Chamber® members can help them fulfill their missions. Four Global Non-Profits Presenting:

Eyes Open International is a non-profit group focused on combating human trafficking through empowerment. We consult various levels of government and develop methods of cultivating resilience, hope, and freedom in vulnerable populations as well as organize and participate in talks, seminars, group discussions, and special events that promote human trafficking awareness and survivor-led methods. We have been invited to speak throughout the United States as well as in India, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Our team members have spoken at Harvard University and addressed the United Nations on the importance of recognizing and preventing labor and debt bondage. Martin Sheen will executive-produce a film on human trafficking, and profile founder (and survivor) Harold D'Souza - read more.

Art.Cages by Ruba el-Amine is based in Lebanon and communicates globally. The social enterprise upcycles cages into light fixtures, designs social awareness goods, creates sustainable decorations and supports local and global NGOs . Aparna P. Ranadive, is a socially conscious HR professional, with an entrepreneurial bent of mind, and has a desire to make a difference to the Organization, People and Society, she is associated with.

Her experience in the field of HR, spans about 25 years. A Microbiologist by basic qualification, & an alumnus of NMIMS, where she completed her Masters degree in HRM from, Aparna has contributed to HR, in varied industry sectors such as Retail, Media and Entertainment, Financial Services & Consulting, Investment Banking, Telecom, Engineering & Manufacturing etc & held senior & leadership positions in many.

While she worked in the Corporate as a member of the Top Leadership teams, & Heading the HR function for large organisations, she has contributed to the overall strategy & growth of the organisation by Partnering with Business, Taking initiatives & spearheading interventions that would enable , people growth & thus the business growth. Consultative engaging with senior leaders on various people development interventions, Change Management, Talent Management, Learning & Organisation Development, Employer Branding & Campus Recruitment & Process Improvement have been areas of specific passion, & work.

Aparna’s entrepreneurial journey began with the formation of “Practical Magic Advisory Services & Solutions”, as a boutique Strategic Leadership & HR Consulting practice, as Founder & CEO. The offerings under the ambit, are Start Up Advisory, Executive Search, Managerial & Leadership Excellence Training, Coaching & Counselling of CXOs, Talent Engagement. As an Associate member of the Indian Ex Defence Service Employees Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Aparna is also working towards building a bridge between the Corporate and the Armed Forces, and help both parties find value in the other. She also has a keen interest in the subject of CSR & Sustainability.
