Taipei Computer Association Smart City Technology Matchmaking Workshop in Irvine

Since 2014, the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) has hosted the Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE), which continues to attract growing participation from cities and industry leaders worldwide. This momentum has created valuable international opportunities for TCA’s more than 3,500 member companies.

Through SCSE, Taiwan has demonstrated its strengths in AI, chip manufacturing, industrial computing, and smart city applications. The expo’s matchmaking program has been particularly successful in connecting Taiwan companies with foreign cities and opening the door to new investment opportunities. In response to strong member interest, TCA is now expanding this model overseas.

By bringing this delegation to the United States, TCA aims to help U.S. partners gain deeper insight into Taiwan’s industrial clusters, integrated supply chains, and collaborative technology ecosystem. This exchange is designed to strengthen U.S.-Taiwan trade and introduce market-ready solutions in AI, digital transformation, net-zero development, and urban resilience.

For this initiative, TCA has assembled a delegation of leading Taiwan technology companies, including Foxconn (Hon Hai Technology Group), ASUS, Askey, HiPower, Richten Energy, and EBMCI.
