Elizabeth Glynn is a global operations and business development professional. She has experience with export, import, and global trade matters. Glynn brings 30+ years’ experience collaborating with companies in export operations, trade finance, global logistics, compliance, and marketing with focus on accelerating company investment in exporting and maximizing companies’ competitive advantage across global markets.
Glynn is part of iTradeDigital.com (iTD), a global platform that enables digital trade for buyers and sellers everywhere globally. Traders collaborate to negotiate trade with less complexity, cost, and faster payment. iTD aligns with the International Chamber of Commerce Uniform Rules for Digital Trade Transactions (URDT) published October 1, 2021.
Nationally, Elizabeth is a facilitator with two organizations that provide export training to business owners across states: USCS Global Diversity Export Initiative – NBL virtual ExporTech™ and SIDO New-to-Export training.
Recruited in So. California to introduce and deliver ExporTech™ corporate export management programs for manufacturers, Glynn collaborated with executives to develop export strategies that positioned their companies to access new customers and sales in global markets. The program was highlighted as Step 2 of Mayor Garcetti’s Export Initiative (City of Los Angeles).
Initially having worked in global freight operations and sales, Glynn has worked with a diverse range of organizations. She worked with a defense contractor to enhance global delivery of communication systems and set up the export operations for a medical device manufacturer. With another company Glynn streamlined the global logistics infrastructure; managed export, import, foreign-based transactions; facilitated multi-country shipments, free trade zone projects; and negotiated letters of credit. Achievements include the seamless inspection of a 3rd country in transit logistics shipment (at no cost**)** and successful resolution of a transshipment cargo insurance claim.
Glynn has taught MBA (professional, full-time) courses including global business management, ethics, leadership, and culture & gender issues in management (undergraduate) at the University of La Verne, and multiple international trade courses at UCLA Extension. She has developed and delivered customized programs at UCLA Extension, the University of Phoenix (corporate), and UC Riverside Extension (for foreign professionals).
Glynn received her Master of International Management (MIM) degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of California, Irvine She holds the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) designation.
