Biographies

Ewa Mróz - Founder and Principal of Memo Consulting. Ewa has over 20 years of professional experience in the development and implementation of international projects based on corporate partnerships and public-private collaboration, working with Polish and foreign companies, governmental agencies, NGOs, and academic/research institutions in Europe and the United States. Mróz’s U.S. corporate clientele includes mid-sized companies and start-ups pursuing commercial opportunities in Poland, with a focus on agro-industry, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Since 2010, Mróz has collaborated with NGOs in Washington, D.C. managing Polish-American projects with Fortune 500 companies. She speaks fluent English and German. Education: M.A. in Law, Silesian University, Katowice, Poland. Mroz also graduated from the School of American Law - a post graduate course of the Law Department of the University of Silesia in collaboration with Loyola University New Orleans, University of Toledo and the University of Arkansas.

Colin Christie - Executive Director of Global Chamber® Manila. Colin is an international consultant, connector and collaborator. He is CEO/founder of the firm Sibol Consultancy Services and Executive Director of the Global Chamber® Manila, which helps member and sponsor companies grow globally. Originally from South Africa, raised in Hong Kong, and 30+ years in the USA, Colin now resides in Metro Manila, Philippines and is passionate about helping companies be more global and successful. He has a BS Chemical Engineering, University of California, Berkeley. In the past he founded MxSecure, Inc. and has worked for Medinex Systems, Inc., Linifinty Microelectronics, Philips and Motorola.

Sergei Žunajev - Business Development on e-Residency, Republic of Estonia. Sergei is business development coordinator at Enterprise Estonia’s e-Residency unit. Enterprise Estonia is a governmental agency of Republic of Estonia, that serves as a bridge between the Estonian business environment and the world. Sergei was born in Tallinn, Estonia just before Estonia gained its independence from Soviet Union. Since then, Estonia became the most digitalized nation in the world, and so-called Silicon Valley of Europe. Sergei has a Bachelor degree in tax administration, a strong background is sales and entrepreneurship, and is currently responsible for expansion of e-Residency programme around the world. He speaks fluent English, Estonian and Russian languages.

Daniel Zaretsky - Head of Int'l Relations at Adjacent Possibilities Corp and Co-Founder of World Influencers Network. Daniel works at the nexus of innovation, entrepreneurship, project development and event planning. He was part of the team that wrote the plan for the innovation ministry in Uzbekistan and the tourism strategy plan for the same country. In Tajikistan, he has worked with the international consulting company Mercer. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of AmCham Tajikistan, the American Chamber of Commerce, and founded Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Tajikistan. GEW takes place in 170 countries and GEW Tajikistan was heavily responsible for starting the startup ecosystem in that country. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan and his dual Master's Degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and International Affairs (MIA) from Columbia University. Mr. Zaretsky speaks advanced Russian, intermediate Persian/Dari/Tajiki and basic Uzbek and Turkish (Turkic languages).

Sue Rogers, SIOR, Principal at Cresa Global. Sue has over thirty years of experience in occupier representation, and she has been recognized by her peers for her contributions to both her profession and to her community. As a principal, Sue offers a complete range of services for corporate clients who are contemplating a facility change and can assist in developing strategies to achieve her client's goals while maximizing leverage throughout the process. She is known for developing creative solutions that solve her clients’ complex real estate issues. Cresa Houston advises commercial occupiers exclusively — no landlords, no developers — so they can be completely objective and conflict-free. By concentrating single-mindedly on occupier issues, CRESA squarely in your corner, providing both the perspective and the experience to level the playing field in landlord occupier relations.

Steven Heal, SIOR, Principal at Cresa Global. A principal in Cresa’s Houston office, Steven brings a wealth of experience with more than a decade in the Houston real estate market. Steven specializes in occupier representation and has managed a wide range of corporate accounts. His keen sense of business development extends across a wide range of disciplines, including acquisitions, dispositions and contract negotiation. His P&L experience includes cost control and salary administration, as well as analyzing mergers and acquisitions.

Moderator: Doug Bruhnke - Founder/CEO of Global Chamber®. Doug is a global entrepreneur dedicated to helping members of Global Chamber® successfully reach new markets across 525 metros - everywhere! He is a two-time ex-pat with Dupont in Tokyo and Singapore with 35 years of global business experience in nearly all countries and segments. Doug is a regional advisor for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a member of the Arizona District Export Council. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and an EMBA from Michigan State University and is co-inventor on 5 patents. Doug was born in Mt. Kisco, New York, and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Palo Alto, California.
