Rich Wolverton - Founder / Partner at Grow Foodservice LLC
Rich spent his career in the food industry. He started out in food sales for food brokers and manufacturers prior to an 18-year run in foodservice distribution. Working for Food Services of America, a premier regional distributor in the Northwestern U.S. in positions from Corporate Category Manager to Corporate V.P. of Category Management, Rich was able to see foodservice distribution from all sides.
US Foods, the second largest broadline foodservice distributor in the nation, bought FSA in 2019 and Rich led his team on the integration process.
In 2021, Rich started a purpose driven company, Grow Foodservice LLC. Now, with his partners, Scott Schmitz and Pam Panuccio, Grow Foodservice works with food manufacturers to bring their products to market in foodservice. The supply chain feels like a maze sometimes. Rich and team create a pathway for clients and guide them through the process through the sale to foodservice operators.
Rich lives in Santa Rosa, CA with his wife, Patricia. One child lives nearby in Santa Rosa with two granddaughters, one lives in BC, Canada with his wife and daughter and one in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and two kids.
