Michael Wynne's Professional Background

International marketing consultant and strategist Michael Wynne is President of International Management Consulting Associates (IMCA). Now in its 30th year, IMCA develops and implements business strategies that help companies achieve sustainable growth and profitability in domestic and international markets.

Corporate Career

Formerly with Mobil Oil, Michael was president of Mobil Ami, S.A., a chemical specialties subsidiary with responsibility for total Latin American operations.

Promoted to Strategic Planning Manager with Mobil Chemical Company, he developed global strategies for a $400 million division. This involved marketing operations in 37 countries, as well as 15 manufacturing facilities and numerous licensing agreements.

Promoted again, he became General Manager of a worldwide chemical specialties group. This operation served the Automotive, Appliance, Electronics, Furniture, Metal Manufacturing, Steel, and Aluminum industries**.**

Consulting & Coaching

Michael has provided strategic guidance services to companies in the US and several countries. He also has personally coached over 1,000 senior executives from a wide variety of global businesses throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. As a Professional Speaker member of the National Speakers Association and of the AMA, he has also trained thousands of business salespeople in a wide variety of in American and foreign companies,

Speaking Career

Michael has addressed thousands of business executives and professionals, as well as numerous colleges and universities, in English and Spanish, in 23 different countries. As a speaker with over 30 years of experience he has been awarded the Wordsmith Award for Platform Excellence and has also earned the coveted SP (Speaking Professional) designation from the National Speakers Association - Illinois.

Author of **Sci-Tech Selling, Prentice Hall, 1987 and Global Business Success in 2019, and Michael's articles have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Sales & Marketing Executives, Personal Selling Power, Marketing Interamericano, Sharing Ideas, Successful Meetings, the American Society of Association Executives magazine, and Global Update. Through Constant Contact he also publishes a monthly email newsletter with 2,000 executive readers.

Education

He is a graduate of Sacramento State University (Business), with additional studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University (Marketing) and North Dakota State University (Chemistry). He also was a professor at Javeriana Jesuit University in Bogota, Colombia.

Military Service

He also served 8 years in the US Air Force training pilots in altitude chambers on how to fly safely on oxygen at high altitudes all the way from 10,000 to 70,000 feet.
