Global Chamber® Northern Colorado most recent Global Happy Hour event featured Dwaine Canova, CEO of Zynity, and explored the topic of elite executive leadership teams. As a leader in executive team leadership training, Canova possesses a wealth of knowledge on the development of executive leadership systems in today’s business world. Introducing the environmental essentials, he explained the critical nature of trust and how it demands clarity with what is expected and transparency of the movement behind actions.
The clarity and engagement with strategic initiatives defines the focus for stakeholders, providing greater understanding and alignment of structure. Canova also discussed the significance of servant leadership, the role it plays in an open, communicative, and collaborative system, and the need to alter the traditional command and control leadership style. Instead of focusing structure on accountability, he replaced accountability with visibility, advocating for its presence in strategic initiatives, customer relations, and organizational measurements.
Global Happy Hour concluded with Canova mentioning his book, Elite Executive Teams, which delves into five differentiating skills, the necessity of an executive leadership system, and how a successful system is intrinsically linked to clarity.
