A delegation from the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) visited Washington DC and participated in a roundtable discussion with US women business leaders in international trade on February 27, 2020.

Participants included Toyota, UPS, Teresa Global and Global Chamber® Baltimore/Washington. The roundtable discussion held at Toyota Motor North America was co-sponsored by the Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) and US-ASEAN Business Council.

The Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) is an association established under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) with the mission of supporting the rights, capacity building, trade, investment and technology development for women entrepreneurs in Vietnam. We're pleased to support their efforts thru Global Chamber® Ho Chi Minh City as well.

The delegation made up with business leaders from the textile and fashion, food and beverage, cosmetics, education and other sectors introduced their business activities and discussed issues of women entrepreneurship, women in trade and empowerment and others.

Sincerely, Mi Jeong Hibbitts

Executive Director, Global Chamber® Baltimore/Washington
