Thank all of you that tuned into the Global Chamber Virtual Hangout Tuesday on “International Growing Pains".
We discussed the (sometimes rocky) road that domestic businesses face when making the move to doing business across borders.
Dave Rapier, a global business champion for Global Chamber in Salt Lake City, led the discussion with speakers Mark Roberts of Alliance Bank of Arizona, and Kim William Gordon, Global Chamber Executive Director of St. Louis through Google Hangouts.
The group discussed their enlightening experiences of helping businesses through times of high volatility. From their discussion, we learned what helped contribute to their decision to push into foreign markets, why those markets were chosen, and what they would do differently were they to do it again.
We encourage all members to watch this event to better understand how these individuals have adjusted their companies to stay intact with expansion. Watch it HERE.
This event was free for members and collaborators of Global Chamber. The next Virtual Event in this monthly series will be held on September 22nd at 9am PST and will be on the situation in China. Check back for upcoming Virtual Events by Global Chamber. Hope to see you there!
