As part of our "Doing Business..." series, Global Chamber® hosted two more extraordinary experts speaking on new market trends and opportunities in the Grand Est. Here we had Jean-Baptiste (JB) Deal and Renée Meyer sharing perspectives from their unique viewpoints.

Our focus in this globinar was Eastern France including Alsace, Champagne, Ardenne, Strasbourg and Lorraine. Global Chamber® is growing in France and across Europe! And around the world, everywhere. And you can grow anywhere, too with a little help from the global tribe.
In addition to JB, we were pleased to feature Renee Meyer as an expert speaker, as well. Renee kicked off our year of events by discussing global mindset on January 5th (recap) and here she brought her knowledge of the healthcare, life sciences and pharma markets in the region. Renee is based in Strasbourg and works primarily with firms moving and growing between the Grand East of France, and the Midwest of the US.
JB is an official representative of Invest Eastern France, and he is based in Hong Kong. He was born in France and is an expert on the business there and in China as well. Thank you JB and Renee for your sharing on the opportunities.

Jean Baptiste DEAL - Founder & Managing Director at Avantagents

With close to 20 years of experience in business development and negotiation, Jean Baptiste has represented the interests of many businesses of different cultures and nationalities.
Born in France in 1980, Jean Baptiste became interested in foreign cultures while travelling abroad during his university studies in France. He showed a keen interest in Mandarin and began his adventure in China by learning Chinese at the Beijing Language and Culture University, he later completed an MBA degree at HKUST in Hong Kong. Passionate about negotiation, he completed several Programs On Negotiation at Harvard in the United States.
Jean Baptiste has exceptional language skills and a deep understanding of several cultures (and their differences).
After spending a few years in Beijing, Zhejiang and Guangdong, Jean Baptiste moved to Hong Kong, where he has lived for more than a decade. Jean Baptiste is the Founder & Director of Avantagents, a Business Accelerator that helps companies to deliver results in global projects involving procurement, sales, and investments. Jean Baptiste represents Invest Eastern France to identify and support international companies with business development projects in the region.
Renée MEYER is an American and Swiss citizen, having grown-up in Ohio, and currently living in Strasbourg France. Renée is a polyglot (English, French, German, Spanish) Thunderbird graduate.
Renée works independently as an intercultural mediator, combining her skills in intercultural communication, sustainability and finance. Her current activities are linking the French (mainly the Grand Est region) and the U.S. (mainly Midwest) markets. She concentrates on creating the bridge between actors in different cultures, so that the client can focus on adapting their product or service offering to the export market. With over 15 years of experience in the Swiss pharmaceutical industry, she is specialized in the medtech area.
