Ecommerce and Trade with Food and Consumer Goods Japan, Korea and Israel

We discussed ecommerce solutions to move food, beverage and consumer goods into new markets, particularly Japan and China.

By Tal Zilberberg · Global Chamber® Tel Aviv

As part of the regular biweekly Global Chamber® Tel Aviv meetup, we had an interesting and educational conversation with two e-commerce experts and leaders involved with food, beverage and consumer products moving across borders, and in particular to China and Japan.

The first speaker was Suzy Zeng, CEO and Co-founder of Z-Choice.

She was joined by Yuka Nakasone, founder and Chief Strategist of Global Bridge.

Watch and listen to the conversation here.

These two ladies have deep expertise in China (Suzy) and Japan (Yuka), and it was interesting to hear about the similarities and differences to compete in either and both markets.

Suzy Zeng is a global business strategist and connector with strong background in market development, strategic partnerships, and product innovation. She has had leadership roles at PepsiCo, Kraft, and most recently, at WhiteWave/Danone as the Vice President of Market Development, where she led the launch of Horizon Organic / Silk / So Delicious / Vega plant-based foods / beverages in several countries including China. Her focus is on global business connections and holistic wellbeing. She co-founded Z-Choice International to help small to medium size CPG companies grow globally by providing go-to-market strategies and meaningful connections in both US and China.

Yuka Nakasone in her business Global Bridge will analyze an exporter's current operational situation and create a customized one-, three- and five- year globalization program that answers questions, mitigates current pains, solves problems and achieve goals. The aim is simple: make positive impact on the top-line and bottom-line of businesses while giving owners the peace of mind and confidence to succeed in any market in the world.

We appreciate the conversation! And join us bi-weekly at Global Chamber® Tel Aviv as we have expert speakers from Israel and around the world discuss ways to grow across metros and borders.
