Speakers highlighted that fraud is not limited to large corporations — small and medium-sized businesses are also frequent targets. Topics included internal fraud, payment fraud, banking security, employee risks, and operational safeguards.

One of the key takeaways from the session was that many fraud prevention measures are relatively low-cost and highly effective, including tools such as positive pay systems, stronger verification procedures, and background checks.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of education, awareness, and proactive planning to prevent fraud before it becomes a crisis.

The Globinar reinforced that fraud prevention is now a critical business priority across industries, and that organizations should regularly review their financial controls, banking procedures, and internal systems.
