Made - in - China : Sourcing Solutions from China

Global Chamber supported a special match-making sessions "International Sourcing Made Easy – Connect with Made-in-China.com"

By Doug Bruhnke · Global Chamber

This month at inQBrands in Ontario, California, Global Chamber supported a special match-making session plus warehouse tour, introducing importers to the opportunities of sourcing from China. The program was "International Sourcing Made Easy – Connect with Made-in-China.com", and it included an event to forge meaningful connections and explore new opportunities. We discussed how to cost-effectively and easily source from China, and I was asked to provide context about trade and trust.

For leaders and procurement professionals sourcing products, one of the largest and most trusted sourcing platforms from China, Made-in-China.com, has arrived in Southern California, headquartered in Ontario at inQBrands, and available now online. Made-in-China facilitates your selection and sourcing efforts from China in many ways, and I was honestly extremely impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism.

I've been going to China since 1988 (25 years) and most recently I was quoted in Xinhuan News for my thoughts after speaking at a preparatory event for Canton Fair and China International Import Exposition in September. My main point has been that we need to maintain conversations, and the recent APEC results are a great example of why, since President Xi was clear that China has reevaluated some aspects of their approach.

In my case, my first trip to China involved presenting to 300 automotive engineers, set up because my company at the time (Dupont) has entered China in 1918, and that long history and commitment was well respected by the audience. My conclusion is that politicians come and go, but over the long term, trade continues, and those who are serious and committed... will win. Read more.
