The 5th Annual Global Chamber® Semiconductor Summit at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix brought together global leaders, policymakers and students to engage with the semiconductor opportunities across the global supply chain.

With the 2026 theme “Connecting into the Global Supply Chain,” helped focus the conversations on connections, collaboration across regions, emerging technologies, and the growing role of AI.

The event featured a dynamic program combining expert panels, regional insights, and structured networking sessions designed to help attendees build meaningful global connections.

Intel and Connecting In

Angela Creedon of Intel, Director of State and Local Government Relations, spoke frankly about Intel and how companies should consider being more successful in their supply chain here.

Global Leaders and Regional Insights

Two key leaders spoke from direct experience in the supply chain. Tracey Latham, CEO at Latham Industries, and Prady Gupta, CEO at Infinita Lab discussed the challenges and opportunities in the supply chain. Tracey also shared practical insights on supply chain realities and the challenges local manufacturers face while scaling internationally.

Opening remarks included contributions from global and regional leaders including Doug Bruhnke, Founder and CEO of Global Chamber®, alongside leaders from Arizona’s business, government, and academic communities including Thunderbird School of Global Management and Arizona State University. Speakers highlighted Arizona’s continued rise as a major semiconductor hub, driven by global investment, advanced manufacturing expansion, and strong international partnerships across North America, Asia, and Europe.

Strong Collaboration Between Industry and Students

A unique component of the summit was the involvement of international students from Arizona State University, who supported networking and global connection-building throughout the event. Their participation reinforced the importance of developing future global leaders in supply chain, technology, and international business.

For many students and early-career professionals attending, the summit provided valuable real-world exposure to the fast-moving semiconductor industry and its global impact. Conversations around innovation, global expansion, and the acceleration of AI-driven technologies emphasized how quickly the sector continues to evolve.
