US–Taiwan Technology Partnership Forum 2026 for Semiconductor Collaboration
The inaugural US–Taiwan Technology Partnership Forum 2026 brought together leaders from business, government, higher education, and technology sectors at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona on May 8, 2026.
Supported by Global Chamber®, the US-Taiwan Business Council, Arizona State University, and Global Chamber Phoenix advisory board member Matt Salmon, the event focused on expanding investment and strengthening cooperation between the United States and Taiwan in semiconductors, AI, advanced manufacturing, and technology development.
The forum featured keynote speeches, expert panels, and networking discussions exploring the future of U.S.–Taiwan technology relations, workforce development, and innovation ecosystems. Arizona State University President Michael M. Crow delivered a keynote highlighting the importance of education and collaboration in supporting the future technology economy.
A major focus of the event was the growing impact of TSMC and the semiconductor industry in Arizona, as well as the importance of building strong cultural and community connections alongside economic investment.
Leaders from ASU, the US-Taiwan Business Council, Global Chamber®, and regional business organizations emphasized that successful global partnerships require more than investment alone — they also depend on trust, collaboration, and community-building.
