Our globalized world is one of rapid changes, and business global opportunities are changing right before our eyes. Despite the trouble cause by the pandemic, some markets and industries are finding their ways forward, including markets in Japan.
Global Chamber® is pleased to have hosted three extraordinary experts on the Japanese market who shared their perspectives from their unique viewpoints as business leaders there.
Listen to the conversation HERE.
Leaders Debbie Howard, Catherine O'Connell and Kathy Matsui talked about the ongoing trends and how these are changing in light of the Olympics, COVID-19 and more. The discuss occurred on July 13th 2021, just 10 days before the Olympics kicked off.
The pandemic stats and vaccine rollout numbers have moved greatly in the intervening 2 weeks, but the rest of the information on how Japan is open for business hasn't changed and is really useful. As Kathy mentioned, if Japan is not on YOUR radar, it certainly should be.
Debbie shared recent results from CarterJMRN’s 5th annual tracking study of Japanese consumers (March 2021). Fascinating!
At the link above you will hear about the role of women in the workplace, Work from Home, and a variety of market trends including...
✅ Consumer trends ✅ Changing attitudes toward women's progress ✅ Movements in the workplace ✅ The rapid increase in e-commerce ✅ SMEs and entrepreneurship ✅ The abundance of Human Capital ✅ Venture Capital and ESGs
