Biographies

Debbie Howard - Chairman at The Carter Group-JMRN, Founder of Aging Matters International (AMI), and Co-founder of Corporate Caregiver Camps. Most of us know Debbie for her expertise in the Japanese market. But her other passion is working as an advocate for family caregivers. Inspired by her own experience as live-in caregiver for her Mom during her dying days, Debbie put her research skills to work and wrote a book to help other caregivers and caregivers-to-be. Nowadays, she speaks and blogs regularly on this topic, and helps companies deliver programs to support their employees who struggle to balance caregiving responsibilities at home with their work.

Jon Brody, Co-Founder of Corporate Caregiver Camps. Jon helped his mom age in place and live independently to the ripe old age of 93. With over 30 years of marketing experience in the healthcare industry on both the client and agency sides, he has a deep knowledge of corporate needs, including global strategy, market research and analytics. He has bolstered this with his acquisition of an M.S. in Gerontology from the University of Massachusetts. He is also a proud member of the Gerontological Society of America, American Society on Aging, American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Tanya Krim, Co-Founder and Chief Storyteller of Corporate Caregiver Camps. Tanyais a caregiver from afar for her parents who live in England. She knows first-hand the emotional landscape and challenges of juggling work and caregiving. She chose to augment her 20-year career as a qualitative market researcher by obtaining her M.S. in Gerontology. Telling stories can offer multiple benefits to care recipients as well as their caregivers. She is now applying her background to crafting meaningful, emotive, insight-rich Legacy Stories/Histories and spearheading storytelling training to help the Older Adult segment and their caregivers reminisce, revive and relive.
